Arizona Shooter arrested; turns out to be a white winger ammosexual

7. OK...the suspect says this:

Merritt then told the judge he was innocent. "I tried telling the detective that. My gun's been in the pawn shop for the last two months. I haven't even had access to a weapon,"

When did the first four shootings happen? Was the gun in the pawn shop during that time? That should be easy enough to verify.

I'm waiting with bated breath.

If this is the guy, I'm happy they caught him...but it's their second arrest so far and the first guy has been released. I don't understand why this is so hard if this guy has an alibi. Maybe his alibi won't stand up, but until they check it out and tell us it doesn't, I'm not labeling him as the shooter. Yeah, he has a nasty record. So do a lot of people.
