and they want two strings to their corporate bow. And Biden? He may be worried that Hillary will take a spill and never get back up, so he's ready to leap into the breach, but only if it seems necessary, and doesn't insult Bernie, the front-runner.

No, that's not likely. Biden is probably trying to calm the corporate types by saying he will be there if necessary, but he sees no such necessity arising....I think Biden's okay with Bernie. (How could he not be?)
