There's even an article on Charities Working to Prevent and Cure Breast Cancer, which compares a significant number of organizations and the ratings (SGK gets two stars out of a possible four).

The SGK profile is linked from that page, or you can always search for "Komen." and the profile will list a lot of the points that were mentioned in the video. Like, for instance, the founder's salary as "Chair for Global Strategy." Whatever the fuck that means, she's pulling down $480K, while the CEO is paid less than half that amount. Be sure to check out the numbers and other metrics that earn them such a low score.

Bottom line: do you homework before donating to make sure your dollars will do the most good; and Charity Navigator is a great resource.
