26. I'm gonna play psychiatrist for a minute

I'm not a psychiatrist, but... I figure if the climate change deniers can say, "I'm not a scientist, but..." then I should be able to get inside Jeb Bush's head with absolutely no qualifications. My theory is that he's intentionally torpedoing his own run at the presidency. I mean, he could defend his brother without expressing it in such categorical terms. "He did what he thought was right." "He took action based on the best information he could get." Something like that. Sure, he has to defend his brother, or people will think he's disloyal, but he's way, way over the top, making statements that transcend the ridiculous and shoot right for the sublime. I think he likes running for president, but does not want the nomination, let alone the actual job. Unlike his brother, he recognizes his limitations. Well, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it, kind of like Jeb is sticking with his story.
