local elections. They have controlled Texas this way to the point that you cannot find Democrats who are willing to run because they will face an opponent financed by outsiders. They control the states this way which is why we ended up with all of these Republican governors and corporate Justices on state Supreme Courts. In Texas you can win at the courthouse, but your client will lose if they win enough money that your opponent takes it to the Texas Supreme Court where individuals lose vs. corporations 94% of the time! Corporations have a lid on the courthouses of this country!

I was wondering why the DNC hasn't focused more locally and I believe that the 3rd way money folks don't want them to.
