42. I see the same willingness to believe absurdities

among some on the left, as there was among freepers during the Bush era.

Simple common sense has flown out of the window in some cases.

When you let your own biases cloud your judgment then you are prone to be exploited.

That works just as much on liberals as conservatives.

The DU of the Bush era was curious, skeptical, untrusting of the MSM and willing to delve into places others wouldn't go.

Having said that, there are still a lot of good dissident voices here.
