There isn't an infinite amount of money to spend on these things, so they aren't running them in states that are likely to swing solid red anyway. Go to Ohio or Florida and you'll see a ton of them. But I certainly don't want them wasting money to air these ads where I'll see them. My state's electoral votes will go to Romney even if he displays vampire fangs and sucks someone dry on live TV at the RNC. You spend that money where it will have the most impact, which means swing states.
