the best word. As you've demonstrated, it can be fluid. Priorities, ideals, things that we believe to have more importance than others. True, these also can change, but I cannot imagine mine changing as they have been very consistent throughout my life; I was fortunate to have liberal parents.

I also agree that no one is perfect, but as voters, we base our decisions on present circumstances. Money in politics is the concern by both republican and democratic voters. So, this "imperfection" by Obama in not considering the public mood is more glaring.
