McGovern would have made a better President than Nixon?

You really think a vote for McGovern was a wasted vote, wow, it takes all kinds. I think many of us knew at the time and most of us now know that those voting for Nixon made the mistake not those voting for McGovern.

As a poster up thread said, history has proven the youth right every time. I am proud to have been one of them against the war in the '60s. I was against the first invasion of Iraq and also knew that there were no WMD's in Iraq the second time when we again invaded an innocent Country.

It will never cease to amaze me how some will not vote for the best candidate and wonder why we get crap for Presidents.

But what the hell, an opportunity to bash liberals can't be wasted can it?
