For the record, I worked at "the pile" (as we referred to the place where the towers once stood) for three weeks after the incident. And I'm paying a price for it now with health issues, but no regrets. Yes, we did occasionally engage in gallows humor, but never at the expense of those who perished or lost loved ones there.
Shrub and Rudy G.? Yeah, we did have a few laughs at their expense.

One day, in the not-too-distant future, I'll return to the site. But not while Drumpf, Rudy or others pander on the memories of that awful part of our history.

Not ready yet.
