(12,233 posts)70. I do have to say, the whole "cackle" thing is very petty and doesn't play well with any woman...
At least not most women. First, it's a cacophonous word, so it makes people think "nasty" of the word. Its meant in a demeaning manner to offend women when they are defined by that word.
Say her laugh seems bitter. Say her laugh annoys you. There's not much people can do to change their voice or a laugh that they have had for years... Even maniacal chuckle sounds better than the word "cackle".
