(35,436 posts)it has been far too long that the power in this country (both economically and politically) has been held by white males, but I really don't think she is the one to break through. Someone like Elizabeth Warren who has been pounding away at the banks after being elected Senator would have been my pick (and she didn't win her senatorial seat because of her husband - she did it on her own). My hope is that after the dust settles on this we take a good look at who we can catapult with our power of grass roots - now that Bernie has illustrated how to get it done. The younger women - Nina Turner, Tulsi Gabbard, Kshama Sawant - these women need our support. I found out about Nina on Twitter and have been following her. I would really like to see her run for a national seat.
