16. The trouble is with the foolish caucus system

I caucused in Vegas on election day. Hillary supporters clearly outnumbered Sanders supporters but the caucus system allowed Sanders people to try to overturn the results first at the county convention and then again on Saturday at the state convention.

If we get rid of the caucus system, which brings with it throngs of people being instructed by officials who have little experience or knowledge of the caucus rules or crowd control, we will no longer have all the chaos and confusion and people thinking they are being screwed.

Saturday night was almost predictable. The Sanders people thought they were getting screwed but not really, as Clinton won on election day.

Get rid of the caucus and bring back the primary. Caucuses may be good for small towns in Iowa but in Las Vegas it was nothing but hours and hours of confusion and chaos.
