42. One of my biggest disappointments about this election cycle

May 2016

is the perception that Hillary was chosen to be the candidate by the DNC long before the primaries started and the DNC really doesn't care what the voters want, they want Hillary to be the Presidential nominee.

Whether this is actually true or not, that is the perception of many Bernie supporters. Every time Bernie wins a primary we hear a great outpouring about how he didn't really win because ... because it was close so he didn't narrow Hillary's lead ... because even though he won decisively he didn't actually gain on Hillary because of the superdelegates ... because even though he won he can't possibly win enough delegates ... and on and on.

We are the Democratic party. Work to insure the primaries are not only fair, but appear fair. Don't have DWS sitting in her chairperson's chair mandating Hillary to be the annointed one and seeming to not really like the idea of having primaries in the first place. She seems to be of the opinion that the hoi polloi should simply bend down to the mandates of the rich and powerful, the ones who actually run the party.

And that, my friends, is why many Bernie supporters and feeling really burned.
