I've felt that way too—that they're setting up the narrative against Bernie and us, in case she loses in the general. And some scary polls today make that look like a possibility.

But here's the thing. During the general, I know that Bernie will support her. He'll encourage every one to vote for Democrats. Up and down ticket.

He's already said he'll be damned if he lets the working people in this country be hurt even more by Republicans.

So, at that point the DWS/HRC narrative of blame falls apart.

In fact, Bernie is an enormous boon to HRC. The reason is that since he's trying to hang in until the convention—he'll get a better platform for us. He'll fight like hell to make it more progressive. Much to the Democrats chagrin, but it will actually make her more electable in the general.

HRC supporters on this site and elsewhere, are very foolish to not see that. It's Bernie in the end who will make her more electable for the very reason that she'll have his support. And his influence will be in the platform she has to run on.

Because on her own, she doesn't have a bone in her body that has real convictions.

After the election, all bets are off and she'll go right—but in the general Bernie's influence in the convention, is an asset.
