The more the merrier on the Bernie Train.
Aging is so insidious, time just doesn't stop. High School seemed to take forever, as you get multiple decades down the road four years is a blink of the eye. I am sure Mr Van Dyke feels that big time at this point.
I wonder why his world view is so different than oh, Clint Eastwood. I play a lot of fairly high level women's' tennis and of my two best friends on the court the one I would have guessed as a republican right wing type is a progressive and vice versa. Go figure.
The easy answer seems like it involves levels of empathy, compassion, and greed but it can be mysterious.
