Republicans Deny Benefits For Veterans

1. Of course they do

Republicans always crow about "supporting the troops." Except when it comes to actually supporting them. The George W. Bush administration allowed the VA hospitals to deteriorate. They sent our troops into battle with insufficient armor and incomplete strategies. Then the Bush administration allowed the bad guys to get away. It's as if by putting a yellow ribbon on their SUV, they've emotionally supported those young people we've put into harm's way; yet it didn't cost them a dime.

I'm disgusted that my fellow Americans think and act this way.
