In reply to the discussion: Stop Illegal Wars - Tulsi Gabbard @ Peoples Summit in Chicago [View all]Kaela
(13 posts)Tulsi Gabbard is a life-long Democrat who has said she has dedicated her life to serving the people of Hawaii and the American people. And as a Hawaii resident I can assure you that she is living up to her promise.
Your source "The Fix" has been pro-Clinton, anti-anyone that doesn't support Clinton from the start; biased, short on facts & mischaracterizing, but I digress.
But you calling respectful disagreeing 'bashing' is ridiculous. Tulsi and Pres. Obama respectfully disagree on foreign policy in Syria and she's simply speaking truth to power regardless of platform or party. It's called Democracy. We don't live in a monarchy where it's 'off with your head' for disagreeing with the king. She's giving powerful and valid reasons why she disagrees, because the US is wasting trillions of dollars, thousands of lives and exacerbating the refugee crisis in Syria by engaging in this regime-change war, instead of going after our real enemy (ISIS al Qaeda etc). There is nothing contradictory if you actually listen to what she's saying instead of dismissing it.
What's the point of debate if you're closed to facts?
I spent quite a bit of time explaining the two wars in my first reply to you, and you summarily ignored them to post an inflammatory comment. Read this and this if you want to understand more where Tulsi's coming from.
