The impression I got from the WSJ editorial was "You've flip flopped on everything else and you're trying to land on your edge on this one???"

The editorial openly invoked the image of President John Kerry. Everything the GOP said John Kerry was, every BS spin they pulled on him, Mitt Romney is. And you got Joe Walsh in the background with the Purple Heart bandaids for Tammy Duckworth. And still nearly half the country is going to suck it up and vote for this guy.

Carlin's quote about the average person's intelligence is so apt here.
