10. I've known a lot of Chicago cops over the years. Both as friends/acquaintances and customers.

They definitely mellow with age and seniority.

The real trouble is the younger beat cop.

This guy strikes me as more of a no bullshit good guy. First hint is he is a Dem (or at least anti trump).

I had to stop hanging around with one group. They became unbearable after Obama was elected. I got tired of hearing about how socialism is bad but they are happy they work for the government because the economy is so fucked up.

I know a couple Sargents and a Commander that shake their head at the shit that goes on. One guy even agrees some of these guys were probably picked on as kids and now want revenge.
