By never being able to open their mouths again, neither can add to their litany of stupidity. Nor can either engage in stupid activities.

And their adherents seldom remember the idiot things either said or did. Their reputations grow after death through selective memories and enlarging tales of their deeds.

I always laughed when Scalia was deemed a "conservative intellectual" as if there was such a thing. All he did was make up fancy sounding excuses for keeping many groups of Americans as second class citizens.
