Welcome to neoliberal capitalism run wild.

We are better than this. As HUMAN BEINGS, we are better than this. We are bodies and souls and memories and experiences. We are NOT what we buy, what we consume, what we tweet (god, how I hate that human discourse is being truncated into 140 characters), what we watch, what we own. Capitalism has trivialized all of life in the so-called modern world and has left us all infinitely poorer in the things that really matter.

Olbermann truly is the voice crying out in the wilderness...
