8. Hi DFW. Long time no see. Maybe we've just been hanging out in different forums.

You're right, I think. Most people won't understand what Keith was talking about. Authenticity and the truth are becoming much rarer in America. If you speak in those terms, a lot of people here won't know what you are talking about. American society is becoming psychotic if you define psychotic as being detached from reality. People here are losing touch with what is really happening in the world.

I know you live in Germany and travel around the world and sometimes make it here to the states. I'm guessing that the people you talk to when you are here, the people you do business with, aren't average Joes. I'm a trucker and I talk to average Joes all the time. Most of them don't really know what's happening to our country. Right wing media has somehow convinced most truckers that their interests lie with the Republicans. It used to be that the majority of truckers were strongly represented by the Teamsters Union. Very few trucking companies have organized labor now. It will probably soon be totally a thing of the past. It is painful to hear a man who should be a Democrat, if not a socialist, singing the praises of a guy like Trump. Many people here simply do not know who best represents their interests.
