Clearly, women are for sex objects. Merkel doesn't play that role. She is functioning on a diplomatic and intellectual level. Not in his realm. He knows she is way smarter and more experienced. She was a physicist. She speaks English far better than he does. Maybe he's too stupid and narcissistic to know. On some level, I think he gets it at a gut level, so he's acting like a scared, disrespectful asshole. Maybe Putin sent him a message. Putin hates her almost as much as Hillary. She is standing between him and breaking up the EU, and DT is one of his willing tools to do that. To that end, Angela has a lot at stake, so she compliments the hospitality.
