11. This reminds me of my former corporate employment.

Specifically it reminds me of the excruciatingly long international conference calls held weekly. We had to name all the cost improvement projects we had undertaken, their status, and results. We had already done a good job and there was not much to do. I was glad that my phone could not relay the smell of bullshit. In spite of all this cost improvement the company went bankrupt. I was long gone at that time.

My boss nixed me suggesting we do away with the meetings as a cost improvement.

To be more on topic, I wonder if this bullshit was the smell I noticed as I drove down Rock Creek Parkway a mile away from the White House.
