And I do not despise Michio Kaku. I just don't take him seriously. Like Everett, he writes checks that science cannot back up. Just like strings, which nobody can credibly call a theory.

Quantum Field Theory is the currently accepted science in theoretical physics. It certainly has all the recognized advances. Plus, it has the advantage that it works.
