That has nothing to do with what he has done for a living in the past.

She clearly said she takes responsibility for her mistakes that lead to the result, but that she thinks (and many others think) that clearly the October Surprise by Comey played a part. There were clearly people who were going to vote for her, but because of Comey's October Surprise had doubts at the last minute, and did not vote for her.

It couldn't be clearer. Axelrod is wrong to say that she blamed Comey, implying that she was saying that was THE reason she lost. She flatly did NOT say that or imply that.

He didn't pay attention to what she said, or he's projecting onto her what he thinks she really thinks. In either case, that is simply not what she said. And that's just a fact.
