1. Pence lacks Trump's charisma, though he's just as dumb.
2. The rabid right wing-nut ku kluxers are going to be neutral about Pence at best because he's a cipher.
3. Pence is also involved in the Russia scandal.

And last, perhaps most important:

4. TRUMP IS INSANE AND WE'VE GOT TO GET HIM OUT OF THERE ASAP BEFORE HE DOES SOMETHING REALLY BAD.
