In reply to the discussion: Cenk explains the corruption that so many people here willfully refuse to understand [View all]Hortensis
(58,785 posts)they need to understand is that the biggest problem in politics is that some of the people can be fooled all the time--because they insist on it. And those fools can be and are used, not only to enable enormous corruption, but to take over nations and topple governments. Might want to read about what's happened to Poland quite recently. Without determined fools, there would be very little corruption.
On that subject, did you know that Cenk has swung all over the place from far left to far right ideologically, but has been oh-so-concerned about Democratic Party "corruption" from all positions?
Or that Jefferson and Madison were liberals who both sent packing people like him who tried to horn in and explain all they were doing wrong? John Adams was a moderate traditional conservative, and Alexander Hamilton a strong conservative, but they both had also zero tolerance for the extremists trying to set them all straight in those days.
