A Relic from the First Korean War era... [View all]

A few days ago I recieved this via wheeebay -

A 1950 Raytheon (major arms manufacturer - think Patriot and Tomahawk missiles.)

Ordered it weeks ago.

The Korean War kicked off in 1950.

Truman was President.

Joe McCarthy was on a roll.

Now I'm hoping this wasn't an ill omen.

A beautiful piece of living history,

and a reminder.
