8. Bloomberg is exactly right. The purpose of "free" formula in hospitals is to get women to dry up.

I've boycotted Nestle for over 25 years now because of their "Nurse Maids" in Africa. They sent in sales reps dressed as doctors and nurses to convince women that their formula was superior to breast milk, gave them free samples, and after their breasts dried up they were stuck buying formula. Since it's fucking expensive in most of the places they targeted, they watered it down to stretch it out. Often times the water was so polluted and the concentration of formula so week that the infants died. Nestle has blood on its hands and Bloomberg seems to understand that.

Now agreed, some women can't breast feed either because they don't produce or the infant won't latch on. Yes, there are valid reasons to use formula. But pushing it like a crack dealer is what the formula companies are doing and it's not healthy for the children. A doctor will know if a woman needs formula. That's a medical professional's call, not a sales rep's.

And yes, the OP title is inappropriate, but the clip is good and spot on.
