The slow, thoughtful exchange had such a somber tone to it. I am no fan of Clapper but I found myself compelled to listening to his every word. I'm having great difficulty expressing the exact feeling this conversation evoked but it seems we have turned the corner. Gone is the breathless reactive reporting of the last YEAR or more. These were two intelligent people grappling with the frightening place we have found ourselves in.
This was a refreshing piece of journalism. Thank you so much for sharing this.
