The wake of a boat is the disturbance behind the vessel after it's moved through the water.

Trump is going to Puerto Rico long after the wake has passed.

CNN's headline writer reached for an easy cliche. Instead, they might have written "Trump Finally Goes to Puerto Rico." Or "Trump Arrives in Puerto Rico as Residents Begin to Die From Lack of Food and Water." They suck.

And Trump's an idiot.
