Having one of the targets of the investigation running DoJ may be a huge inconvenience for the investigation. Bad enough that the biggest player in the conspiracy is the president, but the DoJ under normal circumstances can remain independent of a criminal president and carry out an investigation into the criminality.

Sessions needs to go. It is untenable to have one of the conspirators in charge of Justice! Calling Al Franken.
