But its good to be reminded once in awhile how deeply established the Corporocracy is installed in America. That there really are not two distinct parties. And I wouldn't even use the word "party". Its more like a machine. The Dems play the good cop, with a soft side, and the Repubs play the bad cop who may go a little too far sometimes to "get er done". But really they are the same coin with different sides. They are both moving America towards an even greater Corporocracy. Soon they hope to get a lasso on the Internet, and sites like DU will become a pain to log on to, while the MSM news sites will be instant connection. They've already managed to find ways to imbed ads everywhere. Peer to peer sharing will be gone next.

The difference is that under the Democrats, it will be a longer windier road to a full Corporocracy because they will have to still keep up appearances, maybe take a decade longer than the Republicans who would rather just go shock and awe on all publicly funded programs.

It sounds depressing, but there is some hope. Before the internet is fully absorbed, it can be a great tool to educate people as more and more Americans come online. With enough citizens educated about this hijacking of America, there may be time to find a better way. The first would be to get money out of politics with public financing and a strict spending limits. Citizen United must be overturned or be legislated away. Easier said than done though.
