I just don't think it is wise for the long-game to do an impeachment. It will rally his base for sure.

Where you may have the right idea about impeaching him is this. I think there is a big difference between impeaching 45 and impeaching Clinton. I suspect Clinton survived and gained popularity because the people saw his impeachment as a purely malicious act by the GOP. Really without merit or reason for having been done. 45 should not get any of the same thoughts and sympathy about an impeachment of him. His acts are not personal indiscretions. They are traitorous.

The problem is, they've been blatantly traitorous and in the public for a long time now and there has been no groundswell to get rid of him.
