'Both sides are equal' is not the problem. The problem is the media monopoly, at one time there were some tens of thousands of media owners. Now there are only about five to seven who own nearly all the media. It used to be that the media didn't have to make money it had to inform the American People. So, the republicans started calling it the "liberal media" and their propaganda worked. Now "the media" has to make money, not inform the viewer, and as long as there is money to be made the "paid for media" will support the republican party which is all about money. Yea the democratic party is about money but, they also are about the American People. And how can you help the American People if there is money to be made by the 1% of the americans who own more than 90% of Americans.

They will report the facts in their own way, just ask FOX "NEWS" who went to court, during the GW Bush administration, to get a ruling that they could make their anchors tell the American People lies. Yep the courts ruled in favor of FOX because they said that FOX was their employer and they had to do what the employer said to do. Now days if you want to know what is real and made up news just listen and if you hear "FAKE NEWS" that is real news...
