I can already implement the keep the Republican away from the ballot box plan this month. There is a special election on June 30 to fill the unexpired term of Blake Farenthold for U. S. Representative. The race features the two Democrats and the two Republicans that were in the primary runoffs last month so we could possibly get an interim representative who won't be on the November ballot.

I already received two postcards from the Democrat that won the runoff to inform me about the election, but I'm not sharing that information with my brother. Since it is also his birthday that Saturday I suspect that I'll be able to eliminate one GOP vote.
