Because I actually wept when I saw those pictures - how could ANYONE fail to be deeply moved by them, by the proximate closeness of the reality.
As I pointed out to my US Representative (freedom caucus) 
if this was Libya ripping children away from their parents, America would be BOMBING us to force us to stop.
This is why I say we MUST take back power and set this house in order. The Louis Powell doctrine has nearly destroyed this republic. The perps behind these atrocities must be held to account for their actions in an international tribunal where they can face worldwide testimony about the misery their policies have caused.
And, you know what? Kilmeade's free to say this shit. The First Amendment says so. But he and his noisome network are also free to take the consequences of lost viewers BECAUSE he said it. And I hope they do.
