4. I had a girlfriend in the 80s

Who was a foster child, cared at a Catholic home. We were driving and passed what was my favorite house in midtown, and she told me she was passed around a group of men when she was a young teen. Her foster father, priests, and other church related people. Said her brothers were as well.
She told me story after story about being sexually abused by church related people. The funny thing was, she kept in contact with the church and visited often. Her brother ended up joining a cult, and me and her rescued him under the cover of night. We had to leave his wife, who was locked in a shed for a month or more. She refused to leave.
Religion is weird.
