When I was a teacher the local school district voted to take Coke machines out of the high schools. Everyone thought they were so wonderful looking out for the students' health. Someone in the audience stood up and asked why not remove ALL sugary drinks and they couldn't respond and only answered, "There are fruit juices and bottled water". It turned out, after very little investigation, that Pepsi was allowed to stay in the machines since they were paying the School Board/district to do so. We were NOT surprised. Experienced teachers know that schools are a business. Period.
