She's a wonderful historian and had a front row seat on quite a bit since working for LBJ. I was lucky to see her in person when her book "Team of Rivals" about Lincoln came out - I went to hear her speak and went to a reception beforehand where I was able to get her book and she signed it! She really is a national treasure!
