with the judicial system? I guess not. Military members want to be thanked for their service and sacrifices -- especially those overseas generally and in Iraq or Afghanistan specifically. The men and women who are missing Thanksgiving with their families because of Trump's midterm elections stunt especially need an expression of appreciation, and not just, "We're winning and you're winning." And the families' sacrifices must be acknowledged.

The President also took time on Thanksgiving to phone U.S. troops, as well as tweet his thanks.
“Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Today, we give thanks for all of our loved ones and the brave men and women in uniform who serve our country,” Obama tweeted.
“Today is a reminder to be thankful for what we have, and share our blessings by helping others. –mo,” first lady Michelle Obama tweeted.

Even this year, when he doesn't have to impress the voters, the former President and his family served Thanksgiving dinner to homeless veterans.
