4. Good question that I've asked myself 100x's and can't find a history or article on it. If I do,

I'll share it.

OTOH, maybe it seems obvious to most people -- ambitious attention craver gets attention because he's one richie who enjoys celebrity and can appeal to audiences with mediocre tastes. So a win-win for media grasping to fill airtime.

I can only say that he's the embodiment of the decadence in American tastes in entertainment.

-- Fake Wrestling -- inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of WrestleMania 29 in 2013 (!)
-- Self Promoting Books with fake advice
-- NBC's Celebrity Apprentice for 15 years with fake expertise
-- Cameos in 12 films and 14 television series,[290] including as the father of one of the characters in The Little Rascals; 24 times on Howard Stern; performed a song with Megan Mullally at the 57th Emmys in 2005. He even gets a pension as a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

He's been a fake for so long he doubts anything on the news is real. He thinks cynicism passes for wisdom, and so do his followers.

Sometimes there's no explaining entertainment.

Even now, he plays to scripted ideas of how a president should speak, but can't bring his old fakeass self to change with a position he simply sees as another reality tv show.

I was laughing as I posted this, but now I'm just scared and weary for this country.
