She also liked the "Dracula" and "Frankenstein" movies but I still think Godzilla topped those for her. From her childhood to young adulthood into the early '50s, going to the movies was her generation's "television".

One of my sisters used to like Ultraman when we were kids (whose creator, I understand, had done special effects work on the original Godzilla films). We used to walk around the house doing this -
