4. I generally enjoy Bill's show.

However, I really think he allows conservatives too much leeway to spout their propaganda unchallenged on his show. Either he or his research staff just don't do their homework. I'm sure a lot of us here at DU are in the same boat when we watch his show. I find myself yelling at the TV set to shut these people down. For instance, last night in his initial interview with O'Donnell (and yes, she is fairly dumb, but drinking the Kool-Aid will do that to you) she was going over the usual Repub talking points about Obama not being able to run on his record. The audience was not going for it, but Bill let it pass instead of shutting her down with his many, many accomplishments. She also came out with the meme about Obama having the House and Senate for two years and not getting his stuff through, and again Bill let it go instead of bringing up the meeting that was held on his inauguration day, along with the record number of filibusters that we ALL know about.

In many ways, he's still the 1980's era Democrat who feels he needs to apologize for his views. I really think he needs some hardcore, smart people on the panel like Rachel, Stephanie, Ed, or Larry when he has those rethugs on so someone will call them out on their lies and watch them squirm. I mean, even Steve Schmidt was doing a better job than Bill in dealing with her.
