I find that it is so very helpful to provide a little information for users here so that they can decide better if they want to click on your post or your link.

While it can work both ways, what you are sharing may get more exposure that way and people who are interested will benefit. Usually, I just stop at the click and if there is nothing to let me know why, I leave. Then, I just stop clicking on posts from that user or add to ignore.
