The Russpublicans clearly believe that the end justifies the means, and will do whatever they can to keep their jobs and to keep Clemintine Caligula in the White House. And Fox Noise, Sinclair Broadcasting et al. are hammering the point home to the cognitively-impaired base/audience. They don't give a rat's ass what future historians may conclude. Why should they? They believe the victorious will write the historical account of this impeachment.
