3. My Governor.

That speech defined what we are about as americans. And because I have lived during the leadership of this Governor, I know him as a practical problem solver who does not back down from his values, whether speaking to business people, confronting the legislature, or talking to the poor and middle class who he has done so much for since being elected for the first time in 2006. I proudly voted for Patrick the first time and proudly contributed to his re-election campaign and voted for his re-election. Those people that gave Patrick a 6% re-election victory should be proud today, their votes were important and have boosted our proud state boldly into the future. Patrick solved the financial mess that Romney left the state in, Patrick was nearing solving the financial mess when he stood for re-election, we stayed with him and a year ago, Patrick cleaned up Romney's mess and today, Massachusetts has one of the highest bond ratings for any state in the country as well as the highest bond rating in it's history as Patrick stated. As he solved financial problems left by Romney, Patrick refused to cut education or hammer programs that help the poor, and today, because Patrick made the choices that he did, Massachusetts has the nation's most skilled workforce, the nation's lowest health-care costs, the best health care RESULTS and the highest performing students rich or poor. This is the america that I want to live in, this is the america that I want for other states.
