But my family is largely Republican, and we've sent several of my cousins to war. One was killed 12 years ago in Iraq. Yet they still cling to the idea that Republicans are good for the military and that Democrats are bad.

Even a dead son/brother/cousin/nephew will not sway them.

I weep for our country.
